How to get to Medellín?
Medellín is one of the colombian cities with more air connections, both national and international. In fact, more than 40 daily flights connect MedellÍn with Bogota, the capital of the country.
The city has two airports, Jose Maria Cordova International airport located in Rionegro 30 minutes far from downtown. And Enrique Olaya Herrera airport for domestic flights.
We would also like to recommend a selection of hotels that form part of the design ecosystem of our eleventh edition for you to have an unforgettable experience.

We have a warm-temperate weather
The temperature can vary between 25° C- 30° C (77° F – 85° F). The temperature usually decreases at night. In some cases the days may present sudden changes in the weather, such as heavy rains and intense sunshine.
National Currency
The Colombian peso, or COP, is our official currency, we have both bills and coins.
What if you need cash?
At La Feria you can go to the service hallway where you can find an ATM that you can use.
TRANSPORT
Plaza Mayor is the largest trade show complex in the city, it is located at Calle 41#55-53. La Feria De Diseño Medellín powered by imm cologne will be held in the Exhibition Pavilion, which is part of the complex.
HOW TO GET TO PLAZA MAYOR?
Metro de Medellín
The Alpujarra and Exposiciones stations are near Plaza Mayor and have adequate signaling to make it easier for visitors to get to Plaza Mayor.
Bicycle
A friendly way to get around the city and reach Plaza Mayor, taking the bike path on San Juan Avenue. 100 bicycle parking spaces are available.
Metroplús
Plaza Mayor Station with direct access to the venue.
Bus routes
Running along Avenida Ferrocarril to 33rd Street: 1811, T4 016, T4 019.
Taxi
Just in front of Plaza Mayor you will find a taxi pool for you to take a cab if you wish. We recommend you to be attentive and take the necessary measures such as registering the license plate, since the taxi pool is not part of the organization of La Feria.
Car
Drive north-south on Ferrocarril Avenue, before the Exposiciones traffic circle. The venue has 600 parking spaces.
